Monday:

As a Closure Design Engineer III, the week starts with a lot of pending tasks and projects to deal with. With KanBo, the first step was to organize and prioritize tasks for the day. Using the Kanban view, I created a board with three columns – To-Do, In Progress, and Done. I added cards with tasks for the day, such as finalizing the closure design, reviewing and approving vendor drawings, and coordinating with other teams to ensure that the project is on track. Using the Assign People feature, I assigned tasks to team members and set due dates.

Tuesday:

On Tuesday, I had to collaborate with other teams and departments to stay updated on the project’s progress and resolve any dependencies. Using the Follow feature, I followed the boards and cards related to the project to stay informed. I also used the Activity View to see all the actions and updates on the project.

Wednesday:

On Wednesday, I had to review and approve vendor drawings. Using the Document View, I accessed the vendor drawings, made comments and shared feedback with my team members. As the Closure Design Engineer III, I needed to ensure that all work met the organization’s quality standards before approving it.

Thursday:

On Thursday, I coordinated with other teams to ensure that the project is on track. We used the Calendar View to schedule meetings and invite team members. During the meetings, we discussed critical issues and resolved dependencies.

Friday:

On Friday, the focus was on finalizing the closure design. Using the Card Status feature, I moved tasks from In-Progress to Done as they were completed. Finally, I used KanBo’s Reports and Dashboards feature to generate reports summarizing the work completed that week. The reports provided insights that helped me understand the team’s progress and track performance against project milestones. Using these insights, I could plan and prioritize tasks for the following week.
