At KanBo, we are seeking an Electronics Software Integration Engineer to join our team. This full-time permanent role will be based at our Crewe campus and offers a hybrid work arrangement. The Electronics Software Integration Engineer will report to the Head of Integration Management and Software Management and will support the integration of software, hardware, and datasets related to functions and components across the entire vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support in the definition, control, and optimization of the overall level of maturity regarding software-related functions and components in vehicle projects.
– Provide technical strategic leadership, in-depth technical knowledge, and guidance of all dependent functions regarding maturity planning, integration management, configuration management, change, and release management.
– Support the achievement of business objectives and technical development when it comes to the integration management of a certain vehicle project, delivering on time and within budget.
– Support in the definition of software-related functional scopes for new vehicle projects and platforms, taking into account technical feasibility, cost aspects, and market requirements.
– Support in the consolidation of errors and deviations compared to the target state across all sensors on the basis of comprehensive defect management for the assigned vehicle projects.
– Support in the configuration and release of the entire vehicle software for use in R&D (pre-series), in production, and in aftersales.
– Optimize and improve all relevant sub-processes, methods, and tools.
