Day 1 (Monday): Plan and Prepare
As a Product Security Test Manager in the automotive industry, your week starts with the planning and preparation of the upcoming security tests. Using KanBo Workspaces, you create a new workspace for the project and invite all relevant team members to join. You then add a KanBo Space dedicated to the security testing phase.
Next, you create a card for each component to be tested, assign tasks to the appropriate team members, and set due dates for completion. You also add Checklists to each card to track progress and ensure all necessary steps are taken.
Day 2 (Tuesday): Execute Security Tests
Today is all about executing security tests. Using KanBo’s Agile features, you create a board with different stages to represent the testing progress. You move each card as the testing progresses, from “In Progress” to “Completed.” As the Product Security Test Manager, you can quickly see which tests are on track and which may need additional support.
Day 3 (Wednesday): Review Test Results
Today, you have access to all the test results outputs and reports from the previous day. You use KanBo’s Document view feature to easily navigate through the results and leave comments for your team members. These comments provide feedback to help solve any issues encountered during the test.
You also use KanBo’s Reporting feature to report findings to management, comparing the output of each testing phase to evaluate where to reallocate resources.
Day 4 (Thursday): Follow-up on Open issues
Today’s focus is on answering any open issues and getting back to stakeholders with resolutions. You use KanBo’s Follow feature to ensure you don’t overlook any request, and use the Card Blocker feature to indicate critical updates to the test cycle.
Day 5 (Friday): Wrap-up and Document Lessons Learned
Friday is the final day of testing and it’s time to wrap everything up. You gather all the information about the project, including test results, feedback from your team, and management, and add to the documentation for Lessons Learned in KanBo’s Document folder feature.
Using KanBo’s Gantt View, you review the overall project timeline and analyze any obstacles encountered, and any successes achieved. This information will help you plan for future tests and improve the process in future project cycles.

Your team is working on a new project, and you need to coordinate the testing tasks for the different components of the product. You can use KanBo to manage the test planning, coordinate the test equipment and vehicle demands, and plan resources to meet project milestones.
First, you create a new board for the project and set up different phases for the testing tasks. For example, you can have a planning phase, a development phase, and a testing phase. Within each phase, you create cards for the different components that need to be tested, such as the vehicle software, the communication interfaces, and the hardware security modules.
