Monday:
As an Operational Risk Manager, the first thing you need to do is create a workspace for the project you are currently working on. In KanBo, click on the “New Workspace” button, give it a name, and add a brief description. This way, you can assign people, cards, and documents to the workspace easily. Next, you can start adding spaces to the workspace. These spaces can be used for different departments or teams responsible for specific tasks.
Tuesday:
Now that you have organized your workspace into spaces, it is time to start creating cards within each space. Click on the “Add Card” button within the space and give it a suitable title. Use the KanBo card elements such as checklists, notes, and documents to provide more detail about the card. Assign the card to a specific person, and set a due date to ensure that the task is completed on time.
Wednesday:
To keep everyone in the loop about their assigned tasks, you can add comments to the cards. Encourage team members to collaborate and ask questions or share progress updates. Don’t forget to use “@” mentions to notify specific team members about important updates.
Thursday:
KanBo has a great feature called “Kanban View” (make sure to use it from the “Workspaces” menu). It allows you to visualize each space using cards, and quickly understand the state of all assignments. This way, you can easily see which cards are in-progress, which are overdue, and which are completed. Use this view to manage your workspace and ensure everyone is on track.
Friday:
As you reach the end of the week, review your progress using KanBo’s reports (click on “Dashboards & Reports”). Here, you can see how many cards are overdue, what is the current progress, and how much time is left to complete each task. Use these reports to generate insights, understand trends, and identify potential issues. This way, you can make informed decisions and keep the project moving in the right direction.
